Having done nothing for nearly a week, I feel like this decision by the Liberals to "return to work" by January 25 is just the sort of fodder the Tories need to sideline the genuine grassroots opposition to what Harper has done. Iggy is placing himself at the head of the real opposition that has developed in these past few days - the thousands of people who are outraged.
Thanks for showing up, Iggy, but get back in line behind the rest of us...
He should have gone further and approved the "mock" parliament as a way to fully demonstrate that Harper has shut down everything.
But this is a good idea. It seems if Harper is dastardly enough he will padlock the doors to the Parliament buildings and the East and West block buildings also.
