LiberalsONLINE.ca

Imagine that. POOF. A new Liberal aggregator springs up out of nowhere. It's experimental, but you're welcome to drop by and have a peek.

liberalsonline.ca is the address.

My suggestion? Change the colour scheme ;)

Well imagine that, a new/alternative liberal aggregator.

James, Cherniak WTF left a note about this on my blog and then I saw your post on Progressive Bloggers. I will like to join but as you probably know I can be quite outspoken. If that does not bother you I will like to join.

I should add that I am very impressed by your being independent thinker and not cowed by others.

Click on the link to join found at the top right.

Congratulations, James Curran!

Here's hopin' you run for federal office some time :-)

I congratulate you on your link. Besides the suggestion listed above, I would recommend that you have three to five moderators who can decide on disputes. I would also suggest a code of conduct where participants should not post malicious blogs that may be racist, sexist, and not deliberatly false. You decide on the code of conduct. With the moderators, at least you can have some distance between you and the blogsite.

I don't know if I will join. I'm not a member or active supporter of the Liberal Party. It doesn't mean I won't vote for it. I like to keep a little distance between organized parties and moi.

All the best,

SD

I will be reading it as well, but my curiosity is piqued, can people belong to both?

I mean why not?

I mean why not?
There is no reason why not.
If you have a blog, it can possibly bring you more traffic.

I blog about politics CWTF, and am a long time liberal, but I also blog about a lot of personal stuff--which would make it an interesting experience feeding through an aggregator! I know that people in the past have said that only political posts should go through these things.

Anyway, I will be reading it as I said.

I hope that Liblogs feels the same about letting people belong to both. This could be interesting.

I, for one, won't hold it against anyone belonging to both.

And, we all blog personal stuff along with our political stuff. We should have other interests.

Congrats on the upstart.

Try not to be too controversial. :)

My other suggestion is to delete the word, progressive, and change "Liberal" to "liberal." "Progressive" suggests that only certain liberals are accepted. A capital Liberal suggests that bloggers are supporters of the Liberal Party as oppposed to supporting liberal ideals. One can be both, but one should have the option of being either a Liberal or liberal.

Go blog, go!

James,
Can you do a logo/badge that we can put on our blogs, those who want to, as a link?

Also, I'm not sure the predominant blue is a great idea. It's the CPoC's colour...lol.

James, it would seem that Jason Cherniak's Liblogs has changed their layout.

Now, there is on the left hand side a link to all Liberal party sites.
For an assmonkey who claimed that he is not affiliated with the Liberal party, it seems that he is trying to project some "affiliation"...

It's really embarrassing...

I have a feeling that Kinsella is instrumental in the change at liblogs. Wouldn't surprise me if he might be working in partnership with Jason now.
