Harper v. Ignatieff Now has a Sub-Title

It's official. The next election (failing a coalition of course) will now be billed as:

True North Strong and Free vs. True Patriot Love

Catchy, no?

It's the Thrill on the Hill, the House Divided.

CPAC could switch to a PPV format for Question Period.

The next election, unless Ignatieff takes over with the Coalition, will focus on his writings. There is nothing more powerful than the pen.

Well, if this is all going to be about past writings and statements, we can only hope Harper gets in on that action.

It might add a little more flesh to the "Why the hell is Harper such a petulant bully?" question floating around the electorate (at least the ones not drunk on the koolaid). Until recently that chatter had been overshadowed by the, "What will Dion bumble into next?" meme.

Personally, I think the question will be more, "Who is best positioned to get us out of this mess?" which is a question not typically favoring the ruling party who actively or passively got the country there.

Except that Count Priggy the Usurper doesn't qualify for either of those mottos.

Can't wait.

So MI's book is coming out just before the Liberal convention in Vancouver. Good timing.

The word 'patriot' has been drummed into our heads so much over the last several years. When I hear that word, I automatically think of Uncle Sam and the Stars and Stripes; military bands, parades and fireworks - plus the very unpopular Patriot Act and the Patriot Missile.

But one never knows, as PR goes, writing books could eventually trump hugging babies!
