First his dumpiness declared a war on bike lanes.
Now Rob Ford has declared war on marathon runners - some of the best athletes in the world. But I bet rolly polly Rob would love Toronto to keep the revenues 35,000 athletes bring into the City of Toronto. He's a cake and eat it kind of guy.

Now, now.
He still wants the marathon... just he wants it running up the Humber River trail, which is wide enough to fit two runners abreast. So, let's see. 35,000 runners, each needing a minimum square metre to run in, two at a time, works out to a starting line nearly 18 km long...
It seems to me that many/most of the 'runners' are probably taxpayers as well .. likely contributing to the construction and maintenance of 'roads' in Toronto.
Probably a couple of business people whined about a perceived loss of traffic on a couple of Saturdays and Rob is doing his reactionary best to 'unfetter local the private sector.
I think this is the beginning of the worm is turning. More to come from this loser.
