Only 7 Delegate Selection Meetings in Ontario

A far cry from 2006. We need to do better. We need to expand our base.

It's a coronation. What were you expecting, exactly?

If you want real primaries (or whatever), you have to have a real race.

Coronation Street is a fairly good soap opera. Been on for years.

Before you succumb to despair, I think there are some very minor reforms to ensure it's not just a free ride.

I learned recently that, instead of during the Martin years where all incumbents were protected from a nomination fight, now MPs have to show they have at least 400 registered Liberals in the riding associations, 40 of whom have to be Victory Fund members.

If they don't, well challengers come on down! Let's see if you can do the impossible and knock of a sitting MP!

To me, that's a pretty high bar they've set, and not easy for even sitting MPs to accomplish.
