I've linke to EzRaw in a previous post. You'll see he's a true champion of human rights.
Near as I can tell, the only solution is getting the U.N. off their asses to organize a multi-national peace force - properly equipped and empowered to impose peace on these parties. Demanding an immediate cease-fire - backed up by a commitment to use multi-national force against eiher side - including Israel - if such a cease-fire is breached. And this is the thing - if, in fact, Hamas continues to use their tactic of "civilian shields" - the force would have to understand the potential of civilian casualties in putting down further violence.
Do you think this is going to happen? Not likely.. but unless the countries currently condemning Israel or Hamas are willing to step up and assure that each side is protected from future violence -perhaps best they shut their collective mouths.
Without that.. a simple cease-fire will be pointless - particularly in light of recent comments like this:
"They have legitimised the murder of their own children by killing the children of Palestine," Mahmoud Zahar said in a televised broadcast recorded at a secret location.
"They have legitimised the killing of their people all over the world by killing our people."
What exactly does he mean killing "their people" all over the world"? These are not the comments of a legitimate government to be respected by the international community.

What makes me laugh is that many are saying that Israel is using tactical strikes. Now that they have bombed and killed many in a UN run school what's the spin going to be....
If you're interested in truth you should recognize that Hamas is in full control of all news coming from Gaza.
It's probably impossible for Israel not to have killed civilians, especially given that Hamas does use them as cover (to be expected from people that espouse suicide killing) but there is a proven history of faked and exaggerated news from the region.
Anyone with a modicum of rationality will also realize that most of the west's media is only too willing to lap up and present such data as fact.
I suggest a little circumspection, unless of course it gets in the way of your schadenfreude.
LOL... yes, James, clearly you're about to be putting swastikas on your blog page.. and clearly, as a conservative, I should be hoping they all decimate themselves, you know, the Muslims and the Jews.. so us Christians can make everything nice and, well, Christian.
That's the problem - in these issues it just becomes way to easy to over-generalize and stereotype -whereas, particularly in this mess, a need to look seriously at diffusing emotion and hyperbole is so important - as tribalism is the root of the whole problem and tribalism is therefore hardly going to offer a solution.
