Jim Flaherty Wants Your Input

Honest. He does.

Input on a scale of one-to-six? Wow, it's like actually being in the cabinet room!

“The Government is open to innovative new ideas that would help shape the plan for economic recovery in the 2009 budget,” said Minister Flaherty.

Well that's nice but nowhere does it ask if Flaherty should resign due to incompetence. I give that top priority.

First they ask the opposition for input into the budget and now us. It’s almost as if they don’t know what they are doing. How odd.

Funny what a little coalition will do. They are also consulting the provinces. I'm so looking forward to that 'consultation' with Quebec.

But, hey, methinks that's a good strategy on their part. It will be more difficult for Ignatieff to fault the budget. We'll see.

Silly man, he left out the most important question, are you unhappy with the finance minister and should he be replaced?

Did you notice the list of options on the demographic info page at the end? Part of me worries that they are going to use the demo info to figure out what their "base" wants most and just pander to them. Suggestions that come from people outside their base might end up in the trash.

Meanwhile, it's interesting to note that you cannot be "disabled" and "employee" at the same time.
