Turns Out CFIA Could Have "Saved Lives"...Did You Hear that Gerry Ritz?

The change in policy on how the Canadian Food Inspection Agency as of April 1, 2008 could be at the heart of the problem that has led to 19 deaths due to the recent Listeriosis outbreak. CBC has the story here. Still laughing at Canadians dying Mr. Ritz? Given the date of this policy change, maybe this decision was meant to be an April Fool's Day joke eh Mr. Ritz?

Perhaps it's too late in the campaign but I think it would be perfect time for the families of the victims of Listeriosis to launch a lawsuit against the Harper government. Maybe announcing it on Wednesday on the heels of Harper's (not ready for prime time) platform.
