Harper Denies Climate Change Again and Thomas Mulcair is Already the Next NDP Leader

News that Stephen Harper has refused to appear in a French leaders debate about environment comes as no surprise. What seems to be happening though is that Jack Layton wants to mimic the Prime Minister to a tee.

Two days ago he followed Harper's lead over not allowing The Green Leader, Elizabeth May into the debate, stating he wouldn't show up for it if she was in. If Steve's not going either am I. I'm starting to wonder if the Blue Machine is also running the Orange Dingy.

What's more interesting is that the Karl Belanger, the NDP spokeshead, states Mulcair would attend the debate instead of Jack. Mulcair? Is he the new leader of the NDP? Hell Jack! How's that for a knife in the front?

Anywho, it's just more proof that neither the NDP or the Conservatives have any plan for the environment. None. Nadda. Zilch.

I’m a union member, and I can’t see myself voting for the N.D.P. (federal or provincial) ever again after seeing the antics of Jack (dam Liberals) Layton. He has done nothing for the working class of Canada since he’s been in Ottawa. He spends all his time on stupid issues that give him photo opportunities, or he spends his time trying to ride the backs of Liberal policies. I will never forgive the party for taking down the very productive minority government of Paul Martin. Furthermore I will never forgive him for helping Steven Harper discredit Stephane Dion with the whole vote fiasco in the house. Everyone knows that had the Liberals voted against the Conservatives at any point, Canada would have gone into an election at the advantage of Steven Harper. Fact is the only reason we are in an election again (what 4th one in 6 years) is because Steven Harper knows that the Senate Committees are about to reveal some nasty truths about our slimy Conservatives, and Elections Canada was about to come to a conclusion regarding the fraudulent behaviour of Mr. Steven Harper. As for the economy, they have (the lying little leprechaun) Jim Flaherty to blame the world economy, the world oil prices, the american housing market, the investors insecurities, the Ontario Provincial government, Danny Williams?, B.C. Provincial Carbon Tax, ect. ect. get my drift! This election was a last ditch effort of Steven Harper to stay in power and Jack Layton still props him up!!!

love the Orange Dinghy! How about the Blue Destroyer?

I think you've got it right on Mulcair though, he might be a real star for the NDP but I agree with Frankly Canadian, people are sick of Jack. The Dinghy might be sunk.

As a union person, are you happy about the fact that the NDP resorted to getting laid off union guys and gals to come to a political rally in Thunder Bay by sending an email stating there was a union meeting?

Typical of Layton, I saw that story on another blog tonight and had to make a comment. Layton is all about himself period.

Let's all support Liberals who refused to ban strikebreakers! Or support a federal minimum wage! Or end the great EI heist! Yay!

I'm not entirely sure about this, but I think that Layton's campaign plane is the only one that shows his name, not the Party's name, in great big letters along the side.
