Needless to Say...I Wish Mr. Dion a Speedy Recovery

He's still out there fighting the good fight.

What do you think of this "joke" by a supposed prominent young Lib upon hearing the news:

He'll be a great lawyer and is a bright light in the party EFL.

Justin also strongly supported the YLC amanedment to OMOV whereby 10% of the party would control 25% of the vote.

Justin Tetreault Regardless of who you support for Presidential candidate, this is an amendement that all Young Liberals should get behind.

Justin Tetreault I supported this in 2006 and I enthusiastically support it in 2009. We must ensure that we retain a strong voice for the YLC within the Liberal Party.

He's a tool. You should know better Curran. When you hear someone is sick in hospital and your first reaction is to mock him, using CPC meme, derived form debate where you defeated former opponent who went on to stage coup de leadership...that is disgusting. That is terrible, terrible judgment. That is sick.

It doesn't matter who one is, or what one's personal connection to someone is, when they act in such a manner, it must be denounced. And I thought you had more moral coherence and backbone Curran. Now you're acting exactly like the people you have most criticised in the past.

What if, as happened with initial PQ reaction to Béchard, he was such an ass, and it turned out there were complications, and suddenly Dion was gravely ill, was at death's door, was sick? What of such a reaction then?

But there is no moral difference between the initial insensitive reaction to this story, and one to a sickness that was to have become subsequently more serious. It's when one first hears the news that one is judged on their initial reaction. And this tool's reaction was to mock.

And your initial reaction to news of Tetreault's behaviour is to excuse him because of his position and cite his position on internal party voting? Complete non sequiter. Complete intellectual and moral fail. I expected better from you Curran, really.

And he's working at Parliament now! Your tax dollars hard at work.

I apologise. I misread your comment as serious. As you can see from my blog, there's been a lot of this crap recently.

I have just edited my blog to take account of my thickheadedness, and again apologised for it, in a PPS. Best, EFL.

I stand correct. Mr. Tetreault does not work at Parliament any longer.
