See if you can guess what his base will call him.

Are you even trying to make an intelligent point anymore?

Robert McClelland said...

No he isn't Devin. He and the rest of the liberals are just trying to distract everyone from the fact that the Liberals are about to side with Harper and sign a free trade agreement with a Colombian regime that murders leftists for sport.

Speaking of intelligence....Got me again Robert. That's exactly what I'm doing.

I am not sure what the Liberals are trying to do here. Their party has propped up the Conservatives for three years. Do they think NDP voters are so stupid that they will rush into their arms if Layton votes with the Conservatives to extend unemployment benefits? Sure, it feels good to say, "Nah, Nah, Nah, Nah Boo Boo. You guys are as bad as us", but I think you risk looking like you are losing the plot.

I guess 500000 job losses isn't and inspiration for Jack to vote this government out. The plot is simple: "Let's vote this bum of a Prime Minister out".

No question, Harper is a bum. Thinking that Iggy is a viable alternative for NDP voters, is your mistake. In fact, from where I sit, there are no good choices out there, given our electoral system. But, the NDP will lose little support if it moves its policy yardsticks down the field, at least in the short run.

500,000 job losses and the Liberals don't want to vote for something that will (marginally, granted) improve EI benefits? All righty, then.

Give a man a fish and he may eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he may eat for life.

How mature.

It's increasingly obvious that Iggy was right to decide that the Liberals would step aside and let the grown-ups take over.

This whole thing is the biggest joke I've ever seen. This is how we run a country? I know pre-school kids that can do a better job. I'm definitely not renewing my Liberal membership next year.
