Radiohead vs. Joy Division

Today's debate after last night's road trip to TeeOH. Which version of "Ceremony" is better? The original by Joy Division, or Radiohead's cover?

I've got to say that the song is genius and therefore the sentimental favorite is definitely the original Joy Division version.

However, New Order's 1981 single version is the definitive version of the song and it without doubt the best of all. To be fair, you should link to this version on your poll http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KVdheR0bUwI

I do have to reluctantly say that I prefer Radiohead's cover version over the original Joy Divison version based on the sound, energy and impact. The drummer is absolutely brilliant!!

Hands down, Radiohead.. but then, what do conservatives know about music beyond Frank Sinatra?

I'm certain Frank was a Liberal.

Well, I suppose he did support JFK and give him a place to have his alleged booty-calls..
