Hope for Kidnapped Canadians

In a world full of doom and gloom everyday in the media, we get a story of hope. Let's all be positive for the safe return of our missing Canadians.

The freeing in neighbouring Mali of Soumana Mounkaila has raised hope that Robert Fowler, the former Canadian ambassador to the United Nations, and Louis Guay, his Foreign Affairs department aide, may also soon be released.

The Canadians were on a UN mission in Niger when kidnapped along with Mounkaila Dec. 14.
