The "What Do I Know Grit"
I can't say I'm suprised.. when a leader drops the ball as badly as Tory did in the last election, and doesn't even get elected in his own riding - just what did he think was going to happen? Seriously.Even Dion had the good sense to read the writing on the wall for the benefit of his party. If John Tory doesn't step down, the Ontario PC Party deserves what it gets.Beyond that, the lesson that all Conservatives would be well to take from his failure is that the broad public will not tolerate anything that resembles a deterioration of the separation of Church and State. On the other hand - as much as this appears to buoy your spirits James - I'm curious as to your thoughts on McGuinty and his Liberal party's efforts to address the issue of leaks at Chalk River. They don't seem too interested, no?
It's a federal jurisdiction. McGuinty is about as interested as Minister Lisa Raitt.
